The move comes following, an order of a local court asking Mahajan to give an undertaking to it saying that his marriage will be registered within two months from the day it took place. The court had also asked Rahul to submit an affidavit stating that the marriage contracted on March 6 is a bonafide act and not for the purpose of the show in which he participated, and that now Rahul Mahajan and Somashree (Dimpy) Ganguly are husband and wife.
