Varsha Bhosle, daughter of singer Asha Bhosle, committed suicide at her residence in Mumbai on Monday.  (BCCL)

Asha's daughter commits suicide
According to TV reports, she shot herself in the head at her Prabhu Kunj residence in Mumbai. She was 50 years old. Varsha has worked as a playback singer in Hindi and Marathi movies, and appeared in concerts with her mother.  (BCCL)
