Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar made a royal appearance in regal ethnic ensembles as they attended the trailer launch of their film 'Prithviraj' in Mumbai on May 09, 2022. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, 'Prithviraj' is a historical war drama film, which is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the 12th-century ruler Prithviraj Chauhan. In the film, Akshay will be seen as Prithviraj facing invader Muhammad Ghori of Ghurid dynasty on the battlefield. It also features former Miss World Manushi Chillar opposite him as Sanyogita, Sanjay Dutt as his uncle Kaka Kanha, Sonu Sood as Chandravardai, Manav Vij as Muhammad Ghori and Ashutosh Rana as Sanyogita's father Jayachandra.
