As one of the most celebrated Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali turned 58 on February 24, many Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Meezaan Jaaferi, Sharmin Segal, Ismail Darbar and others stepped out to celebrate his big day. Meezaan took to his Instagram story and shared a glimpse of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday party. In the video, Alia Bhatt can be seen cheering for the director, who was cutting a pullover chocolate cake. Alia was looking simply stunning in an all-white outfit. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt also posed for the shutterbugs outside the venue. Alia was seen recreating her ‘Gangubai’ pose for the media and was also seen enjoying all the appreciation coming her way from the paparazzi’s. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter, who is known for delivering some of his notable works in Hindi cinema. Bhansali is the recipient of several awards, including five National Film Awards, eleven Filmfare Awards, and a BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards) nomination. Of the late, the teaser of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi' starring Alia Bhatt was released on the occasion of the film director's birthday. The film is based on one of the chapters of noted author S Hussain Zaidi's book, 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'.
