Karan Johar's 50th birthday: Farah Khan, Gauri Khan and others attend filmmaker’s midnight dinner party

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who turns 50 on May 25, hosted a midnight dinner party at his residence in Mumbai. Several Bollywood personalities and Karan's close friends were spotted attending the party. Celebrities like Farah Khan, Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Apoorva Mehta, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, Manish Malhotra, and many others were snapped while arriving for the party. They were all dressed up in comfy yet stylish casuals for the night, posing and smiling as the paparazzi snapped them. His close friend and renowned designer Manish Malhotra shared a sneak peek of the decor on his social media. Manish shared a video which showed a rooftop decor with white flowers and lots of candles. The 15-second clip gives a glimpse of long tables along with see-through chairs placed in a line. Sharing the video on his Instagram Stories, Manish wrote, "The most beautiful setting tonight @karanjohar. Happy birthday!" He then posted a selfie with the 'birthday boy', who was dressed in an all-black outfit as the two smiled for the camera. Meanwhile, the filmmaker will throw a grand birthday party at Yash Raj Studios for his friends in the industry. All of the prominent personalities in the Bollywood film industry, including the Dharma Talents, are invited to attend KJO's birthday party. On the work front, after five years, Karan Johar returns to directing with 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
