Hundreds of pop singer Britney Spears' fans gathered in Los Angeles to celebrate the termination of her conservatorship. Judge Brenda Penny said that the conservatorship of the person and the Estate of Britney is no longer required. "The court finds and determines that the conservatorship of the person and the Estate of Britney Jean Spears is no longer required," the judge said while delivering the verdict. Reacting to the court order, elated Britney Spears wrote on Instagram, "Good God I love my fans so much it's crazy...I think I'm gonna cry the rest of the day !!!! Best day ever a praise the Lord a can I get an Amen #FreedBritney." Britney Spears has been under conservatorship since 2008. Britney Spears indulged in several controversial incidents following her divorce from Kevin Federline in 2007. Once she shaved her head and hit a photographer’s car with an umbrella. She also lost custody of her two children due to her erratic behaviour. Since then, Spears has been under conservatorship. Although throughout these years, she continued to perform on stage, recording music, attending awards shows and appearing on numerous shows.
