Trivandrum International Airport became India's first and the worlds second airport to display an IATA code structure . The structure has been erected at the entrance of the airport. The Los Angeles Airport was the first airport to build a similar IATA code structure . The structure has been constructed by Plane Spotters Kerala, a group of aviation enthusiasts in association with the Airport authorities. The IATA code structure "TRV" at Trivandrum International Airport was unveiled by Shashi Tharoor. The height of the structure is 14 feet and has been decorated with LED lights. (BCCL/Rakesh Nair)
