It is a triple treat for all the skygazers when a total lunar eclipse occurs during a blue moon and a supermoon. It is also called “super blue blood moon.” The moon will look larger, beam brighter and give off a reddish glow. It's a rare event as it is happening for the first time in 35 years when a blue moon has synced up with a supermoon and a total lunar eclipse. A research scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center outside Washington, Noah Petro said, “Just having these three things simultaneously occur is unusual.” In India, people of North-East witnessed this event between 4:21 pm and 5:18 pm IST.
