24 Season 2 (July –October) : Despite being a finite series and one of the most eagerly awaited thrillers on television, the second season of 24 failed to garner good ratings. Though there was a lot of hype surrounding the show and it got positive reviews, it simply couldn't match up to the first season.

Krishnadasi (January –October) - An interesting show with a unique concept, it boasted of lavish costumes and set, and along the way garnered positive reviews, too. However, this remake of a Tamil series lost its audience after the initial two months and had to be wrapped up.

Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar (June –September) - The show came up with a non-dating clause, but the lead pair Vatsal Seth and Ishita Dutta were spotted holidaying together in Thailand, taking a break from their shoot in Mumbai. Despite a huge budget and the show being a comeback vehicle for Vatsal, it failed to connect with viewers and ended abruptly.

Nagarujun – Ek Yoddha (May –January) - Apart from the stellar cast, including Nikitin Dheer, Chetan Hansraj and Nawab Shah, the show had great special effects. However, the general opinion was that it just piled onto the growing repertoire of the fantasy fiction genre, which mostly focuses on snakes! Even replacing the lead couldn't save the show, and it will finally end in January.

Ek Duje Ke Vaaste (February –October) - One of the most awaited shows for its fresh pairing, it had Nikita Dutta and Namik Paul in the lead roles.They shared a crackling chem istry, but the story failed to make a mark.

Meri Saasu Maa – (January –August) - The makers tried everything to make the show work, yet it failed to fare well. They even revamped it and also replaced the lead actor Pearl V Puri with Siddharth Arora. Despite continuously tweaking the content, it was pulled off air in the last week of August.

Janbaaz Sindbad (January –February) - This fantasy drama boasted of a lot of glam cos tumes and special effects. The show told fantastic stories of the triumph of good over evil.Though it was touted as a finite series, the channel ended up pulling the plug on this one in just about two months!

Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhaniya (July –October) - The show had a beautiful set, straight out of a Bollywood film and top notch cinematography , but it shut shop in a couple of months.

Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai (March –July) - Again a finite series, the show had a unique look and treatment. It got thumbs up from the critics, but could not make a foothold in the prevalent kitchen-politics genre. The reviews seemed to indicate that viewers could do without another story on the age old concept of sibling-rivalry.

Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein (June –October) - The show hardly registered any ratings and viewers could not connect with its con tent at all.
