Mrunal Thakur opens up about nepotism; was spurned for not being a star kid

TV-turned-film actress Mrunal Thakur, who was seen in films like 'Super 30' and 'Batla House,' spoke about the issue of nepotism in Bollywood. In an interview, Mrunal shared two incidents, where she was snubbed for not being a star kid. The actress spoke about an award ceremony, where she was getting the Critics Best Actress award and the moment she went on stage, she recieved a low-key welcome whereas when a star kid went up, they were cheered and unanimously praised. Apaprently, Mrunal said that she does not blame the star kids as she believes the onus of responsibility lies on the audience and media. Mrunal Thakur started her small-screen journey with the show 'Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan' and was seen in serials like 'Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek Arjun,' 'Kumkum Bhagya' and 'SauBhagyalaxmi.'
