Television couples who got separated due to domestic violence

'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actor Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal's marriage hit a rough patch and things took a ugly turn when Karan was arrested by the Mumbai Police after his wife Nisha filed a domestic violence complaint against him on June 1, 2021.

According to the complaint, Karan had hit Nisha after a heated argument turned into a fight.

Karan Mehra has since then been granted bail.

'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' actress Shweta Tiwari and her husband Abhinav Kohli got separated after Shweta filed a police complaint against him for physically abusing Shweta’s daughter Palak Tiwari.

Abhinav also alleged that Shweta was trying to keep their son Reyansh away from him.

Shweta later revealed that her daughter Palak had seen her getting beaten up by Abhinav Kohli.

Deepshikha Nagpal had filed a police complaint against her husband Kaishav Arora, whom she married in 2012.

Deepshikha revealed that she was cheated by Kaishav, who would flirt with other women, even when he was married.

Deepshikha Nagpal and Kaishav Arora got amicably divorced in 2016.

'Uttaran' fame Rashami Desai had a bitter divorce with her husband Nandish Sandhu.
